Back in the saddle again...

Well, we're back from Idaho once again and this time armed with a digital camera thanks to Oma! I think we've finally arrived in the 21st century, which should save us time and money, right? We had a glorious visit with family and friends and were again saddened to leave them all for another stint in Texas. Emma got to see a little snow, though not nearly enough, and Bea mastered crawling on Nana and Papa's wood floors. Now we're back amid the hustle and bustle of city life where I look out my window and instead of seeing stars, I see about five airplanes coming in to land. Ahh, how peaceful...

"Where's church?"

December 4, A.D. 2005
Emma fell asleep in the car on the way home from church this afternoon, and managed to remain asleep as dad transferred her from her car seat to her bed. When she woke up from her nap, she shuffled (very bleary-eyed) into the living room and queried, "Where's church?" After her parents had a good chuckle, Annie asked her,
"Did you dream of church?"
"Yeah," she replied, then trotted off back to bed.

Reformation Day

Emma was a Greyfriar monk and we had a great feast at our church. She of course had a fun time with her friends, Charlotte and Jessa. And she got some pumpkin carving in with Papa too.
